THE CASEY FAMILY IS HONORED TO BE ASSISTING AND CARING FOR THE FAMILY OF MARY CHRISTOPHER.

OAKVILLE - Mary Christopher age 92 of Oakville, passed away peacefully on November 26, 2017. She was the widow of Domenic Christopher, her devoted husband of 53 years.

Mary was born on January 18, 1925 in Waterbury, CT the daughter of the late Joseph and Assunta (Ciarleglio) Amabile. Educated in local schools, Mary married the love of her life, Domenic Christopher and together they raised their family. She worked as an assistant for several years at Winchester Electronics. She enjoyed sewing, cooking and spending time with her family.

Mary is survived by her daughter, Sharon Faressa and her husband, Anthony of Oakville CT, her son, Richard Christopher and his wife, Mary of The Villages FL, her sister, Helen Milton and her husband, Fred of Wolcott CT. Mary also leaves behind two grandchildren: Mark Faressa and Stephanie Varrone and well as two great grandchildren: Rocco Varrone and Domenic Faressa. Mary was predeceased by her brother, James Amabile and her sister, Concetta Cipullo.

Funeral services for Mrs. Christopher will be held privately at the convenience of the family. There are no calling hours. The O’Neill Funeral Home, 742 Main St Oakville, CT has been entrusted to assist the family with the arrangements.
