THE CASEY FAMILY IS HONORED TO BE ASSISTING AND CARING FOR THE FAMILY OF CARL LIANO

OAKVILLE – Carl J. Liano age 71 of Oakville, passed away unexpectedly at Saint Mary’s hospital on Sunday, November 19, 2017. He was the husband of Patricia Liano.

Carl was born August 2, 1946 in Bridgeport, CT, the son of the late Daniel and Adeline (Verelli) Quintiliano. He was raised in the Bridgeport area and was graduate of Central High School and proudly served with the Connecticut National Guard. Carl worked as a police officer for the Bridgeport Police Department retiring as a sergeant after many years of service. He was an avid sports fan, especially the NY Yankees, UConn Women’s Basketball, and the New England Patriots. He was always happiest while spending time with his family especially his adoring grandchildren. Carl was a dedicated and loving father, husband, and grandfather who will be greatly missed by all who were blessed to have known him.

Besides his wife Patricia of 50 years, Carl is survived by his children; Carl A. Liano and his wife, Dawn of Watertown, Mark Liano and his wife, Lisa of Watertown as well as his brother, Matthew Quintiliano and his sister, Theresa Deutsch. In addition, he leaves his grandchildren; Gabriella, Jessica, Isabella, and Henry. He was predeceased by his brothers and sisters; Annabelle Quintiliano, Louise Jordan, Ralph, Danny, Loreto, Clement, and Anthony Quintiliano.

Funeral services for Mr. Liano will be held on Wednesday, November 22, 2017 when a Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 a.m. at Saint John The Evangelist Church, 570 Main St Watertown CT. Those planning to attend are kindly asked to meet directly at the church. Burial will be held privately at the convenience of the family. Family and friends may visit with Carl’s family on Tuesday evening ftom 4:00 till 7:00 p.m. at O’Neill Funeral Home 742 Main St Oakville, CT .
