Obituary for Katrina M Michaud (Salzer)
“Loving Mother”
OAKVILLE - Katrina Salzer Michaud 48, died unexpectedly at her home on Wednesday, June 21, 2017. She was the daughter of Mary Sue Salzer Rick and the late Kenneth Salzer.
Katrina worked for Accu Grind Cutter Services of Terryville. Katrina is survived by her two children, who were her everything, a daughter, Allie Rae Michaud and son, Dylan Michaud. In addition to her children, mother and step father, John Rick, she leaves a sister, Roberta Hardt and her husband David, brother, Jeffery Salzer all of Oakville, several nieces nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, July 15, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. at The Union Congregational Church Hall, 167 Buckingham Street, Oakville. At the request of her loving children, family and friends are asked to wear the color purple and or bright colors. Burial will be held at the convenience of the family. To honor Katrina’s memory and to support her children, donations can be made to “Michaud Fund” c/o: Litchfield Bancorp 51 Straits Turnpike Watertown, Ct 06795. The O’Neill Funeral Home 742 Main St Oakville has been entrusted to assist the family with arrangements.
